Sony Liv has acquired the digital rights for the series Brinda, which will be available for streaming from August 2, 2024. Directed by Surya Manoj Vangala, Brinda will be available in Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, Marathi, and Bengali. The series revolves around a police investigation in Andhra Pradesh and is said to incorporate folklore elements, adding a mythological and spiritual dimension to the cop drama. The show features Indrajith Sukumaran, Jaya Prakash, Aamani, and Ravindra in significant roles. Trisha’s portrayal as a police officer in the series marks her first time in such a role, and she expressed disappointment over the two-year delay of her debut series. During an interview, she commended Brinda for delivering one of her finest performances.
