NTR’s Devara is creating revenue with advance sales alone. It is widely known that after six years, NTR will be seen in a solo film with this action drama, which is scheduled for a grand worldwide release on September 27, 2024, i.e., today. Recently, the film became the third Telugu film after Kalki 2898 AD and RRR to gross $2 million at the US box office with premiere advance bookings alone. Also, Devara is all set to have a gigantic opening, with the overall overseas advance bookings reaching the $3 million mark.
Devara is also creating havoc at the box office, as it has reached the 50 crore mark with advance sales till yesterday night. Ticket bookings for the film in Telugu states were opened a bit late, but the fans were quick enough to take the ticket sales to another level. The Hyderabad bookings are on the rage, and the total advance sales number for this region has already reached the 10 crore mark. The bookings in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka are also on a strong note.
So, the overall number of Devara’s advance have reached the 50 crore mark. As of now, the other version bookings are not opened fully, and the tickets sold until now are of the Telugu version only. The north Indian market will determine the opening number of Devara worldwide, while it is certain that NTR’s film will surpass the significant mark of 100 crore gross on day 1 with the help of strong ticket sales in Telugu states and overseas.
