Devara is performing reasonably well in its Hindi version. It is widely known that NTR and Koratala Siva came together for the second time in their career after a box office super hit like Janatha Garage and made the pan-Indian action drama Devara. The film was released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages on September 27, 2024. The film did not receive much response in other languages, but the Hindi version is having a decent response from audiences, which is reflecting in North India’s collections.
According to the box office trackers, Devara’s Hindi version has collected nearly 8 crores net on the first day, and it made 9.5 crores on the second day, taking the total to 17.5 crores net at the domestic box office. The jump in the second day’s numbers is not that great, but the trade is hopeful that the film will have a good day today at the box office. The real test for Devara’s Hindi version starts tomorrow, as the numbers on Monday usually decide the full run of a film in the North Indian market. So, it will be interesting to see whether Devara will surprise like Allu Arjun’s Pushpa in its Hindi version or it will see a crash in tomorrow’s numbers.
Directed by Koratala Siva, Devara stars Saif Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Srikanth, Prakash Raj, Kalairasan, Ajay, Shruthi Marathe, and Zarina Wahab in crucial roles. Anirudh Ravichander composed the film’s music, while NTR Arts and Yuvasudha Arts backed the film.
