BJP leaders waiting for TDP, BRS to die natural death!

The BJP leaders in Delhi are eagerly waiting for the two regional parties in the two Telugu states to die a natural death. The leaders strongly believe that the two parties will vanish from the political scene after the next round of Parliament elections.

Source say that the BJP leaders predict the death of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in Andhra Pradesh after the next round of general election. They see that the TDP would vanish from the political scene after the general election if the party fails to win and form the government.

A good number of TDP leaders have already started looking at the BJP as an alternative. They want the BJP to take over the space of the TDP as the TDP has no future if the party fails to win the election. TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu is leaving no stone unturned to wrest power from the YSR Congress.

Naidu is already tied up with the Jana Sena and is said to be strongly lobbying for the tie-up with the BJP. He is using all his sources to bring the BJP into the alliance. Several leaders who are closely associated with Chandrababu Naidu in Delhi circles, are working on bringing the TDP and the BJP together.

If the alliance works, the TDP may survive for some time, but will have to collapse before the 2029 general election. The party ceases to exist with a good number of party state level leaders leaving the party and joining either the BJP or the Congress.

TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh would be left alone to lead the party with a handful of small leaders supporting him. Lokesh has no leadership quality to lead the party and its leaders facing the current challenges of politics.

The other regional party that is predicted to go out of the political scene is the Bharat Rastra Samithi (BRS) in Telangana. The BRS might face extinction after the Parliament elections. A good number of the party leaders are either planning to join the Congress or the BJP once the party fails to get a large number of Parliament seats.

The party is facing a leadership crisis despite K Chandrasekhar Rao being active now. Sources say that KCR might fall ill due to his age and the party would face a crisis. The leaders have already started looking at the Congress and the BJP and this might become a reality once the party fails to perform at the Parliament elections.

It is to be seen how far the BJP leaders in Delhi are true once the elections are over.
