Bigg Boss Telugu 8: Early Momentum Lost in Week Two

Bigg Boss Telugu 8 started off its season very well, with the first week being much more dynamic than previous seasons. This time, the contestants were hyperactive, and the drama, conversations, tasks, and nominations all worked out well. Even Host Nagarjuna was pleased and initially declared a reward of 5 Lakhs to the house. However, Bigg Boss later denied permission and reduced the prize money to 3 Lakhs, citing a rule against speaking English in the Telugu reality show.

While the show seemed to be picking up momentum, the spark fizzled out after Bebakka’s elimination. The second week’s nominations, which are usually highly anticipated by fans, failed to deliver. The arguments revolved around trivial issues, and the contestants lacked the intensity expected in the nomination process. The decision-making based on a water bottle and dustbin incident felt pointless and dull. As a result, the Monday and Tuesday episodes lost their excitement.

Now, it all depends on the mid-week tasks to reignite the energy. Hopefully, the show can bounce back with something as engaging as the first week, or viewers might face a rather boring week ahead.
