Bharathanatyam, a Telugu film with a modest budget, was released on April 5, 2024. Starring Surya Teja Aelay and Meenakshi Goswami, the crime comedy failed to impress at the box office. However, it has been reported that Aha has acquired the digital rights to the film and will begin streaming it on July 27, 2024.
Aha also made the same announcement through a newly released poster. Viva Harsha and Harshvardhan played important roles in Bharathanatyam. Director KVR Mahendra, who gained recognition for his debut emotional drama Dorasani, shifted his filmmaking style for Bharatanatyam, but unfortunately, the film did not perform well at the box office. Vivek Sagar’s music in the movie was satisfactory. However, his background score received even more praise. The movie’s climax is quite humorous and one of the major highlights. Viva Harsha’s scenes offer a sense of relief and conclude the film satisfactorily. Unfortunately, the rest of the film lacks excitement. Surya Teja, who is striving to make an impression, delivers a decent performance in his role and claims that Bharathanatyam successfully captivated its intended audience. The casting, production values, and a couple of unexpected twists introduced at the midpoint are some of Bharathanatyam’s strengths.
It has been revealed that Aha acquired the digital rights of Bharathanatyam at a meager cost. If you enjoy crime comedies, consider watching this film, but it is advisable to keep your expectations modest. It remains to be seen how well this comedy caper will perform once it is released on Aha.
