Zee 5’s previous web series, Paruvu, has captured the audience’s interest. It is approaching nearly 200 million streaming minutes and shows no signs of slowing down. As previously announced, Zee 5 is now prepared to launch its new series, Bahishkarana.
Anjali takes on the lead role in this series, which is helmed by Mukesh Prajapathi. The teaser captivated audiences and introduced Anjali in a completely new light. Recently, the creators unveiled the trailer, which promises intense drama and daring performances. The series is set in a small village during the late 80s, featuring Sritej and Ananya Nagalla in prominent roles. Bahishkarana follows the story of a man endeavoring to suppress the characters of Anjali and Ananya Nagalla through his power. The fierce resistance of these women against a powerful individual, portrayed by Ravindra Vijay, is portrayed in a gritty and impactful way.
The visuals and narration of Bahishkarana give off a dark vibe, hinting at an emotional rollercoaster. Anjali, known for girl-next-door roles, takes on the character of Pushpa, a courtesan who rebels against the wealthy. Her no-makeup look and powerful portrayal of anger are striking.
