The producers of ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’, which features Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, made an unexpected announcement. Despite having average songs and a decent trailer, the film is still expected to do well and become the biggest grosser for Bollywood in 2024 so far with the advantage of the Eid release. However, it appears that the producers have set high expectations for the film’s box office performance.
In a video that has been shared online, producers Vashu Bhagnani and Jackky Bhagnani (Rakul Preet’s husband) assert that the movie’s worldwide collections will reach a staggering 1100 crores gross. BMCM is predicted to surpass Animal (900 crores) and Pathaan (1050 crores) and become the second-biggest grosser in Bollywood after Jawan (1150 crores), according to Bhagnanis. Nonetheless, the actual reality differs. It’s worth mentioning that Akshay Kumar’s last film, Mission Ranigunj, earned around 50 crores worldwide, while Tiger Shroff’s last film, Ganapath, earned 20 crores worldwide.
BMCM is expected to collect a minimum of 300 crores and a maximum of 400 crores gross worldwide, if it receives positive word-of-mouth, according to trade experts. It’s nearly impossible to reach 1100 crores. Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and others play key roles in this film directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Vashu Bhagnani, which is set to be released on April 10.
