Bade Miyan Chote Miyan gets good response on OTT

Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan did not perform well at the Box Office during its theatrical release. However, the movie directed by Ali Abbas Zafar is gaining popularity on OTT platforms. According to the recent report by Ormax Media for the week of June 7-13, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is one of the most-watched theatrical releases on OTT this week. The film ranks as the second most favored.

Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff played the lead characters in the remake of the classic film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, originally portrayed by Govinda and Amitabh Bachchan. While the original movie, directed by David Dhawan, had a comedic touch, Ali Abbas Zafar opted for an action-packed approach. Although it didn’t fare well in cinemas, BMCM has become the second most adored theatrical release on OTT platforms. Ajay Devgn’s film Maidaan has become the favorite theatrical release of the week. Available on Prime Video, the movie narrates the story of a football icon who played a crucial role in popularizing the sport in India and putting the country on the global stage. The plot revolves around the renowned football coach Syed Abdul Rahim, who dedicated ten years of his life to the sport from 1952 to 1962.

Starring the powerhouse trio of Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Kriti Sanon, the star-studded film Crew was a resounding success upon its theatrical release. The movie, driven by the talent of these three remarkable women, not only garnered widespread adoration but also enjoyed a long run at the Box Office. Now, as it continues to captivate audiences on OTT platforms, even on Netflix, it grabs the third spot in Ormax List. Crew, directed by Rajesh A Krishnan, is a testament to the power of star appeal and engaging storytelling.
