The long-awaited Bad Newz trailer has finally been unveiled, and it’s a rollercoaster of unexpected surprises. The trailer is a treasure trove of hidden twists, all of which seem to revolve around the enigmatic Vicky Kaushal. His presence overshadows even the talented Tripti Dimrii and Ammy Virk. And just when you think you’ve seen it all, the trailer throws in a distinctive cameo by the ever-stunning Katrina Kaif.
In the trailer, Tripti Dimrii is uncertain about the father’s identity of her unborn child. Neha Dhupia, her friend, joins her in the quest to uncover the truth. As they ponder whether Sherlock Holmes would need to intervene to solve the mystery, they are informed about the option of a paternity test. Vicky Kaushal is portrayed as an attractive young man enjoying a swim in the ocean. In this instance, he embodies the handsome Punjabi lad. As Akhil, he consistently exudes a vibrant energy. Upon discovering the possibility of being the child’s father, his response is genuinely unforgettable. Oblivious to the presence of another individual in her life, his reaction is nothing short of epic when she discloses the paternity test results. Ammy Virk’s debut is as powerful as a tiger. The rest of the film maintains the same intensity. However, Vicky still manages to captivate the audience with his line, “Matlab tune starter wahan khaaya aur main course mere saath kiya.”
At that moment, a song from the film is played, accompanied by a jargon that surpasses everyone’s comprehension. Strangely enough, both individuals happen to be the child’s father. Akhil requests a super over (a cricket term) upon learning this. Being typical men, they engage in a physical confrontation, settling the dispute through push-ups. The movie features the updated version of Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam from Shah Rukh Khan-Juhi Chawla-Sonali Bendre’s film Duplicate. Additionally, there are two Tiger references, one of which is Tiger Shroff. Katrina Kaif also has a cameo in the movie, and Vicky delivers the perfect dialogue. The trailer also includes references to Channa Mereya and Bareilly Ki Barfi. Furthermore, Vicky’s film Manmarziyan is mentioned, which adds to the excitement. Anand Tiwari directs the movie, which is set to be released on July 19.
