‘Backward classes are flourishing under CM Jagan’, Deputy CM Amzath Basha

On the seventh day of the ‘Samajika Sadhikara’ bus yatra, spearheaded by the YSRCP, it continued its successful journey in Dharmavaram assembly constituency in Sri Satya Sai district. Thousands of people and party cadre, led by MLA Kethireddy Venkatrami Reddy participated in the bus yatra which commenced from the police station, moved towards the RDO office, and culminated in a massive public meeting near the tahsildar’s office in town.
In addition to the welfare initiatives undertaken by the YSRCP government for the BC, SC, ST, and Minority communities, the empowerment of weavers took centerstage and became a point of discussion during Dharmavaram’s social empowerment yatra.
Deputy Chief Minister Amzath Basha, Ministers Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, Gummanur Jayaram, MLAs Anil Kumar Yadav, Shankar Narayana, Dr. Siddhareddy, Duddukunta Sridhar Reddy, Dr. Tippeswamy, Hindupur MP Gorantla Madhav, and other senior leaders all sent out a unified message to which the crowd responded enthusiastically.
Opening the discourse with his fiery speech, Deputy CM Amzath Basha highlighted that social justice had been possible only with CM Jagan given his sincerity and commitment. He elaborated that while former chief minister YSR introduced fee reimbursement and brought higher education to marginalized students, CM Jagan was the only state administrator who had orchestrated the involvement of BC, SC, ST, and minority communities in decision making.
Minister Gummanur Jayaram hailed Jagananna as a beacon of empowerment, championing the cause of women empowerment. He said the YSRCP government had designed the welfare schemes in such a way that the money lands up in the bank accounts of the females in the household. He said that with this simple, yet effective move, CM Jagan had uplifted the women and demonstrated true social and political empowerment by giving them respect and substantial representation in all important positions.
Applauding CM Jagan’s visionary leadership for giving the highest priority to BC, SC, ST, and Minorities, MLA Anil Kumar Yadav praised CM Jagan for allocating four Rajya Sabha seats to backward communities, a feat not attempted nor achieved by anyone in the past.
Launching a scathing attack on TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu and JanaSena chief Pawan Kalyan, Anil said, ‘Chandrababu Naidu and his foster son Pawan Kalyan are joining forces to obstruct the good governance of CM Jagan in Andhra Pradesh. Stonewall them! The responsibility lies with us to make Jagan the chief minister again in 2024.’
In the end, MLA Kethireddy made an emphatic speech where he hailed CM Jagan’s vision of uplifting the underprivileged sections, who he said constitute 80% of the population in his area. ‘All key positions, from ministers to local bodies, now belong to the weaker sections. In just four and a half years, the YSRCP government has extended welfare benefits amounting to Rs 2,500 crore to the beneficiaries in the Dharmavaram constituency.’, he said. Finally, in a emotional appeal, he urged the people to vote for him only and only if he had done good to them.
