It is widely known that Arjun Kapoor, who portrays the antagonist in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again, has generated a buzz with his first look. A single picture of him alongside Ranveer Singh caused a stir on the internet. It has now been revealed that he has been assigned an unconventional name in the movie. This revelation is not unexpected, considering that two of Rohit’s main characters are named Simmba and Sooryavanshi. The Bollywood fans are going wild with the latest rumors surrounding Arjun’s character’s name in Singham Again.
Reportedly, Arjun is referred to as Danger Lanka in the film. An inside report suggests that the significance of this name will become apparent to the audience upon watching the movie. Arjun commenced his journey in Bollywood by portraying the role of an anti-hero. In his debut film, Ishaqzaade, he showcased his acting prowess by portraying a negative character alongside Parineeti Chopra, which turns positive at the movie’s end. Subsequently, he took on the challenge of playing a dual role in Aurangzeb, in which he got to play one character with negative shades. Now, he is all set to play the full-fledged villain role in Singham Again.
Arjun’s debut in the Rohit Shetty cop universe is marked by Singham Again. The film will introduce several new faces alongside familiar ones. Joining the franchise are Deepika Padukone and Tiger Shroff, in addition to Arjun. While Arjun and Deepika play significant roles in the film, Tiger will make a cameo appearance. The climax will bring together the trio with the original leads: Ajay Devgn as Singham, Ranveer Singh as Simmba, Akshay Kumar as Sooryavanshi, and Kareena Kapoor Khan as Lady Singham. Singham Again is the third installment following Singham and Singham Returns. More recently, the cop universe expanded to the digital realm with Sidharth Malhotra’s Indian Police Force. The web series, which also stars Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Vivek Oberoi, was well-received upon its release on Amazon Prime Video.
