Appa I Love You, the Kannada drama, is all set to arrive on Cinebazzar OTT. The film was released in theaters in April, and despite having a good subject and a nice message at the climax, the film failed to attract audiences as many felt that the director’s execution was not perfect and only a few sections of audiences and critics liked the film.
Cinebazzar OTT is a digital platform that makes films available on TVOD (transactional video on demand). According to the reports, the makers of Appa I Love You are planning to release the film on October 11 on the streaming platform, and the viewers will have to pay Rs. 49 to view the film. But it is also being said that the release date of the film can be changed to another date in October itself. Earlier, Pruthvi Ambaar’s Matsyagandha’s OTT release was also postponed because of piracy issues.
Appa I Love You stars Nenapirali Prem, Manvita Kamath, and Tabla Nani in the lead roles. The film tells the story of an elder man who has issues with his son. Directed by Athar Arya, the film has two threads: one that follows a young couple played by Prem and Manvita, while the other focuses on an old man named Dharmanna, played by Tabla Nani. The young couple finds Dharmanna at an orphanage, and the latter is already engaged in litigation with his son and family, and he also faced mental/physical abuse by his daughter-in-law.
