Amid the thunderous crowd, Jagan interacts with people in Yarraguntla

Nandyal district: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy interacted with people belonging to various communities during the second day of Memantha Siddham yatra in Yerraguntla village in Sirivella mandal in Nandyal district and said that over 93 percent of the people in the village (Yarraguntla) have benefited from the welfare schemes of the government.Chief Minister said, “Two village secretariats cover the Yarraguntla village and over 93.60 percent of houses have benefited in various schemes in one, and 95.32 percent of the houses have benefited in the other secretariat.”The chief minister also talked about the welfare schemes benefiting the people like Amma Vodi, and Cheyutha and said, “All the benefits are being directly deposited into the bank accounts without corruption or discrimination based on caste, religion and party affiliation.”Rs 48.74 crores for 3005 houses“’ There are over 3005 houses in this village, and in last 58 months, Rs.48,74,34,136 were deposited and received directly through various schemes. The previous Chief Minister ruled for 14 years, but have you seen such great reigns?” asks the Chief Minister.Radical changes in schools

“We have been able to bring changes in the system. It is about giving financial empowerment to the families of sisters and brothers. Further, villages have improved today like never before and schools have changed with the improvement of Digital Classrooms. From giving Tabs to children to bringing English medium to all schools with bilingual textbooks with one page in English and another page in Telugu, we have been radically changing the school system for good,” said the Chief Minister.

The Chief Minister also talked about the improvement of village clinics with the family doctor concept where the doctors screen every house and bring medicines to the doorsteps. Further, Rythu Bharosa Kendra is seen in villages like never before and every acre is cropped along with insurance being provided, said the Chief Minister.“At RBKs, every acre of this crop is being insured for free, and input subsidies are given as soon as the loss occurs. In healthcare, revolutionary changes were implemented through Arogyasri which includes over 3000 procedures (free medical treatment),” said Chief Minister Jagan.Vote for your future“I am also asking the people who did not vote for me in the last election. It is not just a vote to elect MLAs and MPs. This vote is for our future. This is an election that will change our lives,” said Chief Minister Jagan while asking the people for suggestions to increase the efficiency of the system.
