It is widely known that on this Independence Day, three Bollywood movies are getting released in theaters—Khel Khel Mein, Stree 2, and Vedaa. While Khel Khel Mein is a comedy-drama starring Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, Fardeen Khan, and Ammy Virk, among others, Vedaa is an action thriller starring John Abraham and Sharvari. Stree 2 is a horror-comedy having Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao in the lead roles. Recently, Akshay Kumar spoke about the competition and stated that it doesn’t bother him and is not a big deal.

Akshay Kumar and John Abraham have released films in competition before as well. In 2018, Akshay’s Gold was released alongside John’s Satyameva Jayate, and in the year 2019, Mission Mangal and Batla House too saw an August 15 release. The interesting thing is both the times, both heroes’ films were successful at the Box Office. In a recent conversation with the media, Akshay Kumar told that he does not think much about competition.

He further mentioned that he will work again with John Abraham soon. He said, “Yes, we’ll be working again, hopefully soon. We’re good friends. We’re close buddies. Clashes at the box office keep happening. It’s not a big deal at all. It’s just a clash and not a slash.”Akshay Kumar and John Abraham have formerly worked together in films like Garam Masala and Desi Boyz. With Akshay’s recent statement, fans are excited to see him with John Abraham on big screen.
