Welcome to the Jungle was supposed to be released this Christmas, but the film was postponed to Summer 2025. Skyforce, Akshay’s other upcoming film, was set to be released on October 2, but even this film has been postponed now, and the new date is yet to be announced. However, the fans of Akshay have good news as their favorite hero is reuniting again with his friend and director Priyadarshan.
If the latest reports are to be believed, Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan will be reuniting after a 14-year gap. Reportedly, the duo is all set to work on a horror comedy. The last film in which Akshay and Priyadarshan worked together was Khatta Meetha (2010). According to the latest reports, the motion poster for Akshay Kumar’s next film with Priyadarshan will be released on his birthday, September 9, 2024. The motion poster will reveal the film’s title, and it will also present Akshay in a new look.
The first schedule of the film will start on December 8, and Sabu Cyril will design the sets. After that, the film’s shooting will continue from January to April 2025 in Hyderabad and the forests of Kerala, Sri Lanka, followed by the last part in Gujarat. Ekta Kapoor has penned the film’s story.
