Aadujeevitham, a survival drama directed by Blessy and starring Prithviraj, has propelled the Malayalam film industry to new heights with its blockbuster success. Based on a novel by Benyamin, the film has garnered immense critical acclaim and captured the hearts of audiences during its first weekend and throughout the weekdays.
Aadu Jeevitham has achieved the highest weekend box office numbers ever recorded in Malayalam cinema history. The film has maintained a strong performance during weekdays and has now become Mollywood’s highest-grossing film in the first week in just six days. Previously, this record was held by Mohanlal’s Lucifer, directed by none other than Prithviraj. Lucifer had grossed 75 Cr in its first week, whereas Aadu Jeevitham has surpassed this by collecting over 80 Cr in just six days. Even though it is only Wednesday, the movie performed strongly yesterday. It is expected to reach a total of around 90 Cr in the first week. The movie is on track to enter the 100 Cr club by Friday and will likely surpass the 150 Cr mark at this rate.
The survival drama, which has been eagerly anticipated for many years, has finally arrived in theaters this week to an overwhelmingly positive reception from both critics and audiences. Aadujeevitham tells the compelling story of Najeeb, a man who finds himself working as a goatherd against his wishes and enduring a life akin to slavery in the harsh Saudi desert. For its international release, the film has been titled The Goat Life.
