In 2010, Tamil Cinema saw the release of movies from four leading heroes in theaters. Endhiran by Rajinikanth, Manmadan Ambu by Kamal Haasan, Sura by Vijay, and Aasal by Ajith were all showcased in the same year. Nevertheless, there hasn’t been a year since then when these four heroes have had their films released simultaneously. Yet, in 2024, this extraordinary achievement is poised to happen once again.
Kamal Haasan is preparing to reveal the highly anticipated sequel Indian 2 in June, featuring Siddharth, Rakul Preet, and Kajal. Vijay is set to showcase his sci-fi thriller, The Greatest Of All Time, helmed by Venkat Prabhu. Slated for release on September 5, the movie showcases Vijay in a double role, ensuring an exciting cinematic journey.
In the meantime, the highly anticipated action-thriller Vidaa Muyarchi, directed by Magizh Thirumeni of the renowned film “Thadam,” is approaching. This exciting project boasts a stellar cast, including Trisha, Arjun Sarja, and Regina Cassandra, creating a sense of great anticipation. On the other hand, Rajinikanth’s Vettaiyan, set to hit theaters in October 2024, is a gripping drama written and directed by T. J. Gnanavel, known for his work on Jai Bhim. With the presence of Amitabh Bachchan and Fahadh Faasil, this film guarantees an exhilarating cinematic experience.
