Yodha struggling at Overseas

Sidharth Malhotra’s film Yodha has garnered a good response from audiences across India, as evidenced by its impressive Box Office collections. Despite a slow start on the first day, the movie gained momentum and has consistently grown in popularity. The Box Office earnings saw an 80% increase on the second day, and the film minted 6 crores on its second day. However, the reception for the film in Australia and New Zealand is different.

According to the box office experts, Yodha earned a staggering Rs. 4.25 crores on its first day and 6 crores on the second day. The movie’s collections witnessed significant growth throughout the day. Although it had a slow start in the morning, the number of shows increased from afternoon to night. However, the opening day collections in Australia were relatively low, with only Rs. 56 lacs. Similarly, New Zealand had an even poorer opening, with just Rs. 30 lacs on the first day. The following day’s numbers are not encouraging.

Produced by Karan Johar, Yodha, featuring Raashii Khanna, Disha Patani, Ronit Roy, and Tanuj Virwani alongside Sidharth Malhotra, premiered in cinemas on March 15th. The movie’s producers unveiled a promotional deal to draw in a larger crowd during the weekend. Through the ‘Buy one, get one free ticket’ promotion, supporters can obtain a complimentary ticket this weekend. To benefit from this offer, customers must enter the promo code “YODHA” at the time of purchase. The trade experts observed that the weekend promotion would enhance its business during the most important days. They anticipated a rise in ticket sales in areas beyond urban centers and metropolitan cities.
