Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan to hit screens in Japan on this date

Shah Rukh Khan’s mass action entertainer, Jawan, was released in theaters last September and created massive records at the box office. Directed by Atlee, the film completed one year of its theatrical release recently, and it is currently available for streaming on Netflix. Yesterday, on September 12, Shah Rukh made a special announcement that Jawan will be released in theaters in Japan in November 2024.

SRK took to his social media accounts on Thursday evening and unveiled a new poster of Jawan and announced that the film will be released in theaters in Japan on November 29, 2024. The poster has Nayanthara, Vijay Sehtupathi, and Shah Rukh Khan. The fans of SRK went mad with this announcement, and they also posted tweets tagging Japanese handles and telling them that they were going to have an exciting ride watching Jawan in theaters.

Jawan is directed by Atlee, and Shah Rukh Khan produced it under his own banner, Red Chilllies Entertainments. Vijay Sethupathi played the film’s villain, while Nayanthara played the female lead, and Deepika Padukone appeared in a crucial extended guest role. The film also stars Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Yogi Babu, Sunil Grover, Ridhi Dogra, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, and others in pivotal parts. The film tells the story of Azad, a jailer who secretly forms a team with the women reciding in his jail, and he punishes the wrongdoers in society by taking law into his hands. He does all this to prove the innocence of his father, who was accused of being a traitor.
