Saiju Kurup’s Bharathanatyam is all set to be released on OTT. The latest Malayalam film will land on Manorama Max, the digital platform that has set itself as the go-to station for Malayalam cinema lovers. Though the official date of the OTT release date is not out yet, it is certain that it will be made available for streaming soon.
Bharathanatyam is the maiden production venture of Saiju Kurup, and the film was released in theaters on August 30, 2024. So it can be said as surprise news for audiences, as the news regarding the film’s digital release came much earlier than expected. Reportedly, the film will be available for steaming at the end of September of October’s first week.
Bharathanatyam is all about a man who tries his best to hide a secret of his family, which leads to many hilarious and chaotic events. Though audiences felt that the film’s story was routine, they were impressed by the way it was narrated with interesting characters. Also, a section of critics commended the film for not opting to go over dramatic despite the film having such situations. Krishnadas Murali has made his directorial debut with the film, which stars Stsars Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Kalaranjini, Sreeja Ravi, Divya M. Nair, Sruthy Suresh, Nandu Pothuval, Swathi Das Prabhu, Sohan Seenulal, and Manikandan Pattambi in supporting roles. Samuel Aby is the film’s music director, and Mariam David and Anupama B. Nambiar produced it on Saiju Kurup Entertainments and Thomas Thiruvilla Films.
