Former minister and YSR Congress MLA from Gudivada in Krishna district, Kodali Nani, said that TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu was scared of volunteers. He said that Naidu is afraid of the volunteers and is running away from the people if he finds volunteers.Speaking to media persons, Kodali Nani said that Chandrababu Naidu would fade out of Andhra Pradesh politics after June 4. There would be no one to speak about Chandrababu Naidu after June 4, when the results of the elections are out.
Now Chandrababu Naidu was promising salary hike for the volunteers. He wondered whether people have forgotten his comments against the volunteers in the past. Who would trust Chandrababu Naidu who keeps changing his statements, the former minister asked.The former minister said that Chandrababu Naidu would remove all volunteers and fill them with the TDP activists. He further said that the Janma Bhoomi committees would come into operation once again if the TDP is voted to power. He cautioned the people against voting for the TDP in the coming general elections.
He said that the YSR Congress does not require the support of the volunteers. He said that the volunteers are educated, and they knew who the best chief minister for the state is. There was no need for the volunteers to tell people whom to vote. He said that people are aware of the policies of the YSR Congress and the TDP.The former minister said that the TDP would be washed out in the elections. People were not ready to give any chance to the TDP. They have seen TDP’s rule for 14 years and have understood what Chandrababu Naidu would do if he became the chief minister.Kodali Nani said that people in the state were happy with the welfare programmes of the YSR Congress government. They were getting the financial benefits directly credited into their bank accounts. There were no middlemen in between and that keeps people in good humor, he said.
He alleged that Chandrababu Naidu had no courage to contest alone. He had pleaded with Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan and the BJP national leadership for alliance, he said. He further alleged that Chandrababu Naidu begged both the Jana Sena and the BJP for alliance.
