TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu is known for playing tricks in politics. He takes everything to his advantage and plans everything to benefit him. He leaves nothing to take advantage of and stoops down to any level to win.
Recently, Chandrababu Naidu used the Telangana Assembly elections to his advantage and to teach a lesson to Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan. While announcing alliance with the TDP in Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan aligned with the BJP in Telangana elections.
The Jana Sena contested eight Assembly seats in Telangana in alliance with the BJP. However, the TDP did not contest the election, but supported the Congress led by Naidu’s chela Revanth Reddy. Every exit poll now gives an edge to the Congress, polling for which was completed on Thursday.
Taking advantage of the Telangana Assembly elections, Chandrababu Naidu tried to reduce the presence of Jana Sena in all the eight seats. Naidu played in such a way that the Jana Sena does not win any of the eight seats. He had even planned to reduce the Jana Sena to lose its deposits in all the eight seats.
He made his men in Telangana to work in all the eight Assembly constituencies to ensure that Jana Sena loses its deposits. He spent more time on the defeat of the Jana Sena as well as the success of the Congress.
By doing so, Chandrababu Naidu took away the chances of Jana Sena to ask for more seats in Andhra Pradesh in alliance. The Jana Sena is asking for 30 Assembly seats and two Lok Sabha seats in alliance with the TDP.
Chandrababu Naidu feels that the number is too big for Jana Sena as he wants to reduce the party to just 15 Assembly seats and not a single Lok Sabha seat. It is to be seen how he would handle the Jana Sena once he starts his political activities on bail.
