Motorola has expanded its budget G-series portfolio in India with the launch of the Moto G24 Power. The latest affordable offering from the Lenovo-owned company starts at Rs 8,999.
The Moto G24 Power features a 6.56-inch HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 octa-core chipset, paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.
In terms of optics, the phone packs a dual rear camera setup comprising a 50MP main sensor and 2MP macro lens. For selfies, there is a 16MP front camera. The camera specs seem decent for the price point.
A major highlight of the Moto G24 Power is its massive 6,000mAh battery which supports 33W fast charging. The phone runs near-stock Android 14 out of the box.
In terms of design, the Moto G24 Power has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a water-repellent IP52 rated build. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, A-GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, and more.
The Moto G24 Power comes in two memory configurations – 4GB/128GB priced at Rs 8,999 and 8GB/128GB priced at Rs 9,999. It will go on sale starting February 7 via Flipkart and other channels in Glacier Blue and Ink Blue color options.
The budget phone aims to differentiate itself with a large battery, fast charging support, smooth 90Hz display, and mostly stock software experience. It faces competition from Redmi and Realme models in the sub-10k segment in India.
