The iQOO Neo9 Pro is gearing up for launch in India on February 22. Pre-bookings for the India-specific model open on February 8, allowing enthusiasts to score early bird deals.
Unlike the Chinese Neo9 Pro with MediaTek power, India’s variant looks set to pack the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. This gives it a leg up in gaming prowess and benchmarks against rivals like the Dimensity-powered Realme GT 3.
Other key specs revealed include a 6.78″ 120Hz AMOLED display, a 50MP triple camera array, a large 5,160mAh battery, and blazing 120W charging. Two configurations will be offered locally – 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB. The 8GB option seems to be an India-first model, likely prices attractively around ₹29,999.
With its mix of Snapdragon power, rapid charging and gaming-focused extras like the iQOO Q1 chip, the Neo9 Pro shapes up as an exciting affordable flagship. Its main competition will be the Realme GT 3 and OnePlus 11 arriving in the same timeframe. But faster charging and higher RAM options give the Neo9 Pro a slight edge.
