Salaar is one of the most anticipated films in Tollywood. It is said to be a PAN India project directed by KGF Fame Prashanth Neel featuring Rebel Star Prabhas and Shruthi Haasan as lead pair. Produced by Kiradangur under Homable Films. Ravi Basrur who was introduced in Tollywood through KGF Franchise is music composer for the film. Just like KGF, From the same director Salaar is also being shot in two parts and the first part is titled as Salaar Ceasefire. It is slated to release on December 22nd 2023.
According to the reports Prashanth Neel is planning to create a universe following the footsteps of Lokesh Kanagaraj whose name is always doing rounds in Social Media for LCU (Loki Cinematic Universe) Lokesh planned to bring all his Kollywood star heroes into one universe by giving some sort of connection in each film. His creative works were well appreciated by the Netizens. Because of its craze despite having weak content Vijay Leo has survived somehow at the Box Office as many were anticipating whether Leo will be part of LCU or not.
