Siddhant Chaturvedi, the talented actor who made a good name for himself with performances in Gully Boy and Gehraiyaan, tried his hands at the action genre for the first time with Yudhra. The film was open to mixed reviews, but with the help of National Cinema Day, the film managed to earn a good total on its first day. However, because of not so good talk, the film’s collections continued to see new lows with each passing day.
Yudhra collected nearly 60 lakhs net on its first Thursday in India. For 7 days, the film’s net collection total will be 11.6 crores, and the gross collection will be over 13 crores. The critics and majority of audiences felt that despite the film having stylized and stunning action sequences, it failed to put them in a coherent story or narration.
Besides Siddhant Chaturvedi, Yudhra also stars Malavika Mohanan as the female lead, while Raghav Juyal, who impressed everyone with his stellar acting in Kill, played the role of the villain’s son. RaJ Arjun appeared as the main antagonist of the film, while Ram Kapoor and Gajaraj Rao appeared in other crucial roles. Directed by Ravi Udyawar, the film has been produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akthar under the Excel Entertainment banner.
