Yodha Vs Bastar: The Naxal Story Day 1 Box Office estimates

On March 15th, the Indian box office witnessed a significant event as two highly anticipated movies clashed. Sidharth Malhotra, Disha Patani, and Raashii Khanna’s film “Yodha” and Adah Sharma’s “Bastar: The Naxal Story” are the center of attention. Despite their distinct genres, fierce competition has emerged between these two films. Currently, Yodha seems to have emerged as the winner on the first day at the box office.

Just to let you know, Yodha falls under the action thriller genre, whereas Bastar: The Naxal Story portrays the chilling attacks carried out by Naxalites in Bastar. Both Yodha and Bastar: The Naxal Story have generated significant excitement ahead of their release, leading to discussions about their potential box-office performance. Based on the early reports from the trade circles, Yodha is projected to earn between Rs 6-8 crores on its first day. Conversely, Bastar: The Naxal Story is anticipated to rake approximately Rs 50 lakhs. Yodha will surpass Bastar: The Naxal Story by a significant margin on its opening day. Nevertheless, observing the performance of both films over the weekend will be intriguing.

Meanwhile, in a recent interaction with the media, Sidharth mentioned that Yodha is a fictional story where they have introduced a new task force. He highlighted that creating something from scratch allows for a lot of creative freedom. The film showcases various changes and the action sequences are distinct from ‘Shershaah’. In Yodha, Sidharth portrays a more energetic and lean character who uses a variety of weapons. He described the movie as more commercial and entertaining, emphasizing that it features some of his best action scenes from the past decade.
