Welcome to Jungle postponed to 2025?

Bollywood fans eagerly anticipate the release of Welcome to the Jungle, but they might have to exercise patience due to a significant alteration in the schedule. According to the most recent information, the film directed by Ahmed Khan may not hit the theaters this year. The comedy film, featuring Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and other actors, was initially scheduled for a theatrical release on December 20, 2024. Nevertheless, it has been rumored that the creators have opted to delay the release of Welcome 3.

It is doubtful that Welcome to the Jungle will be released on December 20, as per a source close to the project who spoke to Hindustan Times. Produced by Firoz Nadiadwala, this film is the third installment in the Welcome franchise. This comedy film’s release may be delayed due to the necessary VFX work. According to a source, the project was executed magnificently, and the initial shooting schedule was completed in May. The filming occurred in Aarey Colony, Mumbai, and the entire star cast was present throughout the lengthy shoot. However, this was merely the first of many planned schedules. Furthermore, substantial VFX work will be necessary once the principal photography wraps up, as stated by the source of the publication.

For those unacquainted with the series, Welcome to the Jungle marks Akshay Kumar’s return to the franchise after his absence in Welcome Back. This film also marks Akshay’s reunion with Raveena Tandon after a gap of 20 years. Under the directorial guidance of Ahmed Khan, Welcome to the Jungle boasts a stellar ensemble cast. The screen will be graced by the talents of renowned actresses such as Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Farida Jalal, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Disha Patani, all in significant roles. They will be joined by a talented male star cast including Akshay, Paresh, Suniel, Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade, Rajpal Yadav, and many more, promising a cinematic treat for Bollywood fans.
