Vidyadhar Kagita says everyone can enjoy Gaami

Director Vidyadhar Kagita discussed Gaami, Which is scheduled to be released on March 8, 2024, along with Gopichand’s Bhimaa. The film starring Vishwak Sen has been in production for over six years and is now ready for its premiere. Vidhyadhar Kagita helmed this project and shared his thoughts during the pre-release function last evening in Hyderabad.

After viewing the Gaami trailer, some viewers expressed on social media that they found the concept somewhat challenging to comprehend and that the progression of events could have been more apparent. Addressing this matter, Vidyadhar acknowledges having come across these comments, assuring that all uncertainties will be dispelled once the audience experiences the film on the grand cinema screen.”Even a layman can understand the basic story and concept in the film. It is a simple story told neatly. Just to create curiosity, we have cut the trailer in such a manner,” said Vidyadhar.

The director stated that Chandini Chowdary, the female protagonist of the film, endured immense hardships during the filming process. “Being the sole woman in the crew, Chandini faced numerous challenges while shooting in remote and demanding locations. She had to endure the most difficulties, including the lack of restroom facilities,” Vidyadhar said. Gaami was filmed in challenging conditions, with the director accompanying the project for nearly a decade. Vidyadhar Kagita expressed, “Gaami is a project close to my heart, and the stunning visuals will leave a lasting impact on the audience. I dedicated significant effort to this film to provide a memorable cinematic experience.” When questioned about a potential sequel, Vidyadhar confirmed that he has no plans to create one.
