However, a set of rumors about the film did the rounds in the media that it was inspired by Cameraon Diaz’s Sex Tape. The film’s director, Raaj Shaandilya, spoke about these rumors in a latest interview and confirmed that there is no truth in these rumors.
According to the director’s words in a latest interview, Director Raaj Shaandilya stated that his film, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wal Video, does not have any connection with Cameron Diaz’s Sex Tape. He also added that he has not watched the Hollywood film, which was released in 2014, starring Jason Segal and Cameron Diaz. “There’s no sex in our film,” said Raaj Shaandilya as he reiterated that the story of Cameron Diaz’s Sex Tape is not the same where a couple’s sex video gets leaked and becomes viral on the Internet. He said that the story and characters of his film are different from the Hollywood film.
Set in the 1990s backdrop, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video is expected to be a lively entertainer that has all the elements that are needed for a commercial entertainer. This comedy drama will be released in theaters on October 11, 2024.
