Because of the film being a not so proper commercial film, it collected less than expected on day 1, but the evening and night shows showed a good jump, which helped the second day’s progress as well.
For 2 days, Vettaiyan has collected around 100 crore gross at the worldwide box office. The film had an exceptional night show across Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Karnataka. The advance bookings for today’s shows are also great, and the film is all set for a solid weekend. The trade experts anticipate the film to collect around 160-180 crore gross on its first weekend. As there is now a Tamil movie getting released till Diwali, it will be interesting to see how Vettaiyan will perform after the festival weekend.
