Vedaa, the latest action drama, is all set to be released on OTT soon. The film starred John Abraham and Sharwari in lead roles, and it was directed by Nikkhil Advani. The film was released in theaters on this Independence Day, clashing with Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor’s Stree 2 and Akshay Kumar’s Khel Khel Mein. According to the latest reports, Nikkhil Advani’s directorial Vedaa will be available for online streaming during the Dussehra weekend on the popular digital platform, ZEE5. Vedaa’s story deals with issues like caste discrimination and social stereotypes along with prejudices. Abhimanyu (John Abraham) is an ex-army officer who comes to a village, and there he meets Vedaa (Sharwari), who is determined to fight against the systematic oppression she faces at almost all junctures of her life. How Abhimanyu becomes a support for Vedaa and helps her achieve the goal is the rest of the story. The performance of Sharwari was appreciated by many, and John’s action stunts were also praised.
Besides John Abraham and Sharwari in the lead roles, Vedaa also stars Abhishek Banarjee, Tamannaah Bhatia, Mahadev Singh Lakhawat, Kapil Nimrla, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Kumudh Mishra in crucial roles.
