Vedaa, John Abraham’s latest action film, was released in theaters worldwide on this Independence Day. Directed by Nikhil Advani, Vedaa also stars Sharvari, who caught everyone’s attention with Munjya, the horror comedy blockbuster. Vedaa had a decent first day at the box office but it saw a considerable drop in its numbers on the second day.
Vedaa gathered 7 Cr Net in India on Day 1, while on the second day the film earned just 1.5 Crore. For 2 days, Vedaa collected 8.5 Crore net in India. The occupancy rate of Vedaa was just 11.87 per cent. The dominant performance from Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor’s Stree 2 at the box office affected the collections of Vedaa.
Vedaa’s story focuses on a dalit girl who hopes to become a boxing club member. However, because of the chauvinistic mindset of the village politicians, she faces problems. Abhimanyu, an ex-Military Officer and now a boxing coach, supports Vedaa.
