Vedaa: Everything you need to know about John Abraham’s Action Thriller

John Abraham’s high-octane action-thriller Vedaa will be out in theaters in another three days. Directed by Nikkhil Advani, the film also stars Munjya fame Sharvari in the lead role. The film’s makers have been successful in setting the anticipation among audiences with exciting posters, trailers, and songs. As the film is gearing up for its release in theaters soon, here’s everything you need to know about it.

The trailer of Vedaa was welcomed with positive feedback from the audience. The action packed trailer reveals that the film deals with the subject of caste oppression and women empowerment. Vedaa focuses on the story of an ex-Army officer, Abhimanyu, played by John Abraham, who helps a girl named Vedaa, played by Sharvari, in her fight against social inequality and injustice. The trailer further established that the film will feature solid action sequences. As said above, Vedaa stars John Abraham and Sharvari in the lead roles. The film also stars Tamannaah Bhatia, Abhishek Banerjee, Mahadev Singh Lakhawat, Kapil Nirmal, Ashish Vidyarthi, Rajendra Chawla, Kshitij Chauhan, and Kumud Mishra, among others. The film marks John’s reunion with director Nikkhil Advani after their successful collaboration with Batla House, which was also released as an Independence Day Special. The film is produced by ZEE Studios with Emmay Entertainment and JA Entertainment.

Vedaa is set to be released on the occasion of Independence Day, and it will clash with other Bollywood films — Khel Khel Mein, starring Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk, and Fardeen Khan, among others, and Stree 2, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao. Stree 2 and Khel Khel Mein are also scheduled to be released on the same day, i.e., August 15.
