Under The Bridge OTT release details

The release date for the web series “Under The Bridge” on OTT is set for this summer. This true crime series is inspired by the tragic 1997 murder of Reena Virk and the novel written by Rebecca Godfrey. Adapted for the screen by Quinn Shephard and produced by ABC Signature, the limited series recounts the harrowing true story of a 14-year-old girl who disappeared after attending a party with her friends.

Under The Bridge is scheduled to premiere on Hulu in the United States on April 17, 2024, featuring two episodes. Following this, new episodes will be broadcasted weekly. The show will also be accessible on Star+ and Disney+ globally, including in India. A recent trailer for Under The Bridge offers a chilling preview of the transformation from innocence to malevolence. The story of Under The Bridge revolves around 14-year-old Reena Virk, a Canadian-Punjabi girl, who attends a party with a group of friends. Tragically, she was subjected to torture, cigarette burns, punches, kicks, a fall, and ultimately drowned. Despite managing to escape the group initially, she was pursued and attacked by two individuals before meeting her untimely demise. After persistent rumors solidified into the grim reality, authorities deployed a helicopter to locate her body, which was discovered partially clothed near the Gorge inlet 8 days later. The brutal murder of Reena, a victim of bullying and racial discrimination by her female classmates, garnered national attention. The question remains: what was the motive behind Reena’s senseless killing?

The cast of Under the Bridge includes a skilled group of actors such as Riley Keough playing Rebecca Godfrey, Lily Gladstone portraying Cam Bentland, Vritika Gupta as Reena Virk, Izzy G in the role of Kelly Ellard, Chloe Guidry as Nicole Cook, Michael Buie playing George Spiros, Archie Panjabi as Suman Virk, Ezra Farouke Khan portraying Manjit Virk, Javon Walton as Warren Glowatski, Aiyana Goodfellow playing Dusty Pace, and Anoop Desai as Raj Masihajjar.
