The Sound of Excellence: MM Keeravaani

For any strong scene, equal importance—or perhaps even a bit more—is always expected from the music director. It’s the composer’s work to elevate an average scene to the next level or transform a good scene into something extraordinary. One of the rarest and best music composers spanning both the old and current generations is MM Keeravaani.

Also known as MM Kreem, his taste in music and the way he breathes life into it through his strings and equipment give goosebumps to those who follow his journey. I am one of the biggest fans of his works. More than the songs, the background scores he provides for films are top-notch. He has delivered many memorable hits for star heroes and has worked with many of them, earning special recognition for his hard work and dedication to director SS Rajamouli.

SS Rajamouli has a track record of delivering blockbusters, with all his 12 films knowing no meaning of flop. A crucial aspect of these successes is the backend support from MM Keeravaani, who has been the pillar of all Rajamouli films. His ability to turn an average scene into a goosebumps moment through his exceptional background scores is remarkable. Currently, MM Keeravaani is busy working on projects like “Vishwambhara” for Chiranjeevi and “Hari Hara Veera Mallu” for Pawan Kalyan. He is also set to work on the Mahesh Babu-Rajamouli project. On the occasion of his 64th birthday, we wish him many more happy returns of the day and all the best for his upcoming projects.
