Bollywood veteran actor Anupam Kher is all set to arrive with The Signature, his upcoming film, which will be released directly on OTT. The Hindi film industry and audiences have gotten habituated to enjoy both theatrical and direct OTT releases over the years. This drama film will follow the same as it skips the theatrical release and will land on OTT. The interesting thing is, The Signature will be the 525th film in Anupam Kher’s career. The film is an official adaptation of actor Vikram Ghokale’s Marathi film, Anumati (2013).
ZEE5, one of the most popular digital platforms in India, has bagged the digital rights of the film, and The Signature will be made accessible for streaming on OTT starting on October 4, 2024, only on ZEE5. Besides Anupam Kher in the main role, the film also stars Mahima Chaudhary, Ranvir Shorey, Annu Kapoor, Sneha Paul, Manoj Joshi, and Neena Kulkarni in crucial roles.
The Signature tells the story of a man named Arvind, played by Anupam Kher, who gets a big shock when his wife collapses at the airport when they are about to make their dream of an international trip together into a reality. As Arvind does not have much money or resources, he turns to his children, who turn down them. Heartbroken, Arvind seeks help from his friends, and the rest of the story is how the man faces the gut wrenching situation.
