The Sabarmati Report is the upcoming film starring Vikrant Massey, who has won all praises for his impeccable performance from everyone in 12th Fail. Vikrant was all set to enthrall with an intense film this summer, but the film is getting hyped every time it is announcing a new release date. Based on Gujarat’s Godhra incident, the Sabarmati Report was initially scheduled to be released in May. However, due to the delay in censorship formalities, the film was postponed to August.
The second release date for the film was announced as August 2, 2024. Sadly, the film was pushed back again, and recently, the makers of the film announced that the film will be released on November 15, 2024. The moviegoers are surprised to see a film getting three new release dates within a year. Vikrant Massey and the film’s producers announced the new release date on social media with a poster on Thursday (September 19). The Sabarmati Report is one of the most anticipated films of the year.
Vikrant Massey, Raashii Khanna, and Ridhi Dogra play the pivotal roles in the film, which was directed by Ranjan Chandel, but he opted out of the project citing creative differences, and then Dheeraj Sarna took the helm. As said above, the film is based on the Godhra incident in Gujarat and tries to convey the tragedy revolving around the burning of the Sabarmati Express. The film’s teaser was already released and received a good response. Shobha Kapoor, Ekta R Kapoor, Anul V Mohan, and Anshul Mohan produced the film under Balaji Pictures.
