The GOAT: Thalapathy Vijay’s Film will have an extended cut on OTT

The Greatest of All Time (The Goat) is all set to be released in theaters worldwide on September 5th. As there are only three days until the film’s arrival, the fans of Vijay have concentrated on the ticket bookings. The film happens to be the 68th film of the Star – Actor and there is good anticipation about its content. The film’s director, Venkat Prabhu, spoke about the film’s duration in a recent interview. He revealed that the film had a much longer time, but it was cut short to adjust to the theatrical release. But he stated that the extended cut of the film will be made available on OTT after its theatrical release.

As said above, in a recent interview, the director of The Goat, Venkat Prabhu, surprised everyone by informing them of the film’s original runtime of 3 hours and 20 minutes. However, to fit into the regular duration of a feature film, the makers had to delete the 18-minute footage and set it to a runtime of 3 hours, 3 minutes. The goat recently completed its censorship formalities, and it obtained a U/A certificate. The fans and Tamil Cinema lovers are happy after Venkat Prabhu’s latest statement that they can watch the extended cut of the film after its release on Netflix.

The GOAT is poised to have an all-time biggest release ever in the Tami Film Industry. Thalapathy Vijay’s 68th film will have a record release in its hometown, Tamil Nadu, along with Kerala, Karnataka, and Overseas as well. Needless to say, if the film gets positive talk, then the sky will be the limit for its collections.
