Thalapathy Vijay’s THE GOAT continues to perform well at the box office. Though the numbers of the film showed a slight drop after the weekend, the film is still minting respectable numbers at the box office. This Venkat Prabhu’s directorial is all set to achieve its breakeven mark (400Cr) in a few more days. The film was released in theaters on September 5, 2024, amidst massive expectations among audiences and ardent fans of Vijay.
Though the film received mixed reviews from audiences and critics, The Greatest of All-Time had a great opening day and weekend. Despite the film not performing well in some regions, like Kerala and Telugu States, the overall box office performance is satisfactory. In Tamil Nadu, The GOAT has crossed the 150 crore gross mark, and the worldwide gross of the film for 9 days will be over 350 crores.
Meanwhile, the fans of Thalapathy Vijay are eagerly waiting for the announcement of his last film, tentatively titled Thalapathy-69 as of now. The star actor has started a political party named “Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam” recently and announced that he would be quitting films after doing two more films. The Greatest of All-Time is the second last movie, and the last film of Vijay will be directed by H Vinoth. The official announcement of Vijay’s last film is expected to come out this evening.
