During its second Prime Video Presents India showcase, Amazon Prime Video unveiled an extensive and varied content lineup, marking its most ambitious offering in the country. With approximately 70 series and films, most of which are set to premiere on the platform within the next two years, subscribers can expect a diverse range of entertainment. This exciting slate comprises 40 original series and films, complemented by 29 highly anticipated movies from India’s biggest names, promising to captivate and satisfy viewers.

Prime Video’s upcoming originals showcase a wide range of Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu series and films, offering viewers diverse local stories. The varied lineup includes thrilling dramas, hilarious comedies, chilling horror, engaging unscripted programs, captivating stories for young adults, adrenaline-pumping action, and enchanting musical plays. Furthermore, after their theatrical releases, the service will feature multilingual films produced by renowned Indian film companies. Fans can look forward to the highly anticipated new seasons of popular series such as Mirzapur, Paatal Lok, and Panchayat. However, the OTT giant did not announce the most awaited The Family Man 3.

Bandish Bandits Season 2

Season 2 of Bandish Bandits features Radhe and Tamanna, former bandmates and lovers, competing against each other in a national band competition. The season is produced by Leo Media Collective Private Limited, headed by Amritpal Singh Bindra, Anand Tiwari, and Dimple Mathias. Anand Tiwari, Karan Singh Tyagi, and Atmika Didwania take on the roles of writers and directors for this season. The cast includes Ritwik Bhowmik, Shreya Chaudhry, Sheeba Chadha, Divya Dutta, Atul Kulkarni, Rajesh Tailang, Kunaal Roy Kapur, Rohan Gurbaxani, Yashaswini Dayama, Aaliyah Qureshi, and Saurabh Nayyar.

Mirzapur Season 3

In Season 3 of Mirzapur, Guddu and Golu face a new rival as they vie for control. The show is produced by Excel Media and Entertainment LLP, with Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, Gurmmeet Singh, and Kassim Jagmagia serving as executive producers. Apurva Dhar Badgaiyan oversees the season’s development, while the writing team includes Avinash Singh, Vijay Narayan Verma, Apurva Dhar Badgaiyan, Gurmmeet Singh, and Anand Iyer. Paatal Lok Season 2

The show is produced by Karnesh Sharma and executive produced by Sudip Sharma of Clean Slate Filmz. Avinash Arun Dhaware directs the series, with Sudip Sharma, Abhishek Banerjee, Rahul Kanojia, and Tamal Sen on board as the writing team. The main cast includes Anurag Arora, Jahnu Barua, Gul Panag, Nagesh Kukunoor, Tillotama Shome, Ishwak Singh, and Jaideep Ahlawat.

Panchayat Season 3

Abhishek faces the challenge of navigating the intricate political environment of Phulera in Season 3 of Panchayat, as the Pradhan and Bhushan groups engage in a fierce battle leading up to the Panchayat elections. The series is produced by The Viral Fever, with contributions from Arunabh Kumar, Shreyansh Pandey, and Vijay Koshy. Chandan Kumar is the writer of the series, while Deepak Kumar Mishra serves as the director.

Suzhal: The Vortex Season 2

In the second season of Suzhal: The Vortex, the murder of senior activist lawyer Chellappa during the Ashtakaali Festival in Kaalipattanam sparks Sakkarai’s determination to delve into the case and uncover deep-rooted secrets. The series is produced by Wallwatcher Films and scripted by Pushkar Gayatri. Pushkar Gayatri co-founded the series, with Bramma and Sarjun serving as directors. The main cast includes Kathir, Aishwarya Rajesh, Lal, Saravanan, Manjima Mohan, Gouri Kishan, Monisha Blessy, and Samyuktha Vishwanathan.
