Kareena Kapoor Khan’s The Buckingham Murders is finding it tough to get going at the box office. The film’s numbers continue to go down, and it looks like the film can never pick up and gather a good number of audiences towards the theaters. The crime thriller was released in theaters on September 13, 2024, and it could not receive the required positive response, though a section of audiences and reviewers praised the performance of Kareena.
The Buckingham Murders collected ₹1.5 crore net on its first day and ₹2 crore on the second day. The film gathered ₹2.2 crore on Sunday and showed some hopes of a consistent run afterward. However, on Monday, the fourth day, the film was able to collect only ₹80 lakh. On day five, the film gathered ₹75 lakh nett in India, and on the 6th day, the film was able to gather only a meager amount of 50 lakhs. For 6 days, the crime thriller collected 8.1 crore at the domestic box office. The Buckingham Murders had an overall 9.41 percent on Wednesday.
Directed by Hansal Mehta, The Buckingham Murder stars Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead role, while Ash Tandon, Ranveer Brar, and Keith Allen play the supporting roles. Kareena also turned producer with this film. The Buckingham Murders was also produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under Balaji Telefilms and TBM Films.
