Kareena Kapoor Khan’s crime thriller, The Buckingham Murders, saw a big drop in its numbers on its first Monday. The film had a slow start on the first day because of the low hype it carried. The film’s posters and promos hinted at a serious murder mystery, and it was expected to start slow at the ticket windows. The film was released in theaters on September 13, 2024, and Kareena’s performance was hailed by the critics.
On its fourth day, The Buckingham Murders was able to collect a mere 80 lakhs net in India, taking its total at the domestic box office 6.5 crore. This shows that audiences do not have much interest in watching the film, and the trade circles expect the film will only manage to score double-digit figures, and it does not show any signs of jumping. The Saturday and Sunday numbers of the film showed a little growth, and everyone was interested to see how much hold the film will show on Monday. Sadly, The Bukingham Murders crashed at the box office.
Directed by Hansal Mehta, The Buckingham Murders stars Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead role, while Ranveer Brar, Rukku Nahar, Ash Tando, Keith Allen, and Prabhleen Sandhu appear in crucial roles. Aseem Arrora, Raghav Raj Kakker, and Kashyap Kapoor have written the film.
