The makers of Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming film Thandel, directed by Chandoo Mondeti, are currently progressing with the shoot at a brisk pace. However, the release date remains uncertain as the team is waiting for the right moment to announce it.
Thandel was initially slated for a December release, but with several other high-profile projects vying for the same period, its release date has been put on hold while the makers await the announcement of Ram Charan’s Game Changer.
Producer Bunny Vaas recently stated that there will be clarity on all film release dates within a month, and plans will be made accordingly. He also mentioned that the film cannot be delayed indefinitely, so if it misses the December slot, it will release in January 2025. With this hint towards a January release, speculation is growing that Thandel might join the competitive Sankranti 2025 season, which is already packed with several star-studded films.
