TDP is playing dirty politics on Land Titling Act, says Jagan

Taking a dig at Chandrababu Naidu for spreading fake news on Land Titling Act, CM Jagan said, “They are selling fake propaganda in the election campaign and sending IVRS calls to people saying that ‘Jagan will grab all your lands’. We give lands to the poor, not grab from them.”

Addressing the people in Hindupur at Sri Sathya Sai District, he asked the crowd whether Chandrababu has any idea about the land titling act and said, “The act is to provide full rights to the farmers on the land. It is a major reform and saves people from running from pillar to post to get their land details. After the current survey completion, the government will guarantee that there is no dispute on these lands.”

Noting that the government stands by farmers and landowners, he said, “The last survey was done some hundred years ago, and now we are surveying every acre across the state, and boundary stones are being laid, updating all the records with proper sub-divisions.”

There are 17 thousand revenue villages across the state, and so far the survey has been completed in 6 thousand revenue villages, in the coming days, the remaining villages will be completed, said the Chief Minister.

“Every farmer should have a proper record of his/her land,” said the Chief Minister.
