Bhuvan Bam’s Taaza Khabar season 2 has created history as it became the most viewed OTT original of the week. The series became the winner of this week as it registered the highest views that any other web series was not able to touch till now, according to Ormax Media. The exciting thing is, Taaza Khabar Season 2 has defeated The Great Indian Kapil Show in the week of September 30-OOctober 6.
Though the web series, Taaza Khabar season 2, received mixed reviews, the viewers were very interested in watching Bhuvan Bam’s latest show. The series was streamed by 5.2 million people, beating The Rings of Power S2 (4.5 million views) by nearly 1 million views. The Great Indian Kapil Show, which has the renowned comedian Kapil Sharma as the host, was at the position in last week’s list. However, it dropped by two ranks in the latest week and became the third most viewed OTT original with 3.5 million views or streams. Ananya Panday’s CTRL came fourth in the list with 2.6 million views, while Shool Friends season 2 landed at the fifth position with 2.5 million views. Vikrant Massey’s Sector 36 and Sobitha Dhulipala’s Love, Sitara were ranked at sixth and seventh positions with 2.2 and 1.8 million views, respectively.
Colin Farrell’s The Penguin, which was produced by the Batman maker Matt Reeves, stood in the ninth position with 1.7 million views. Asha Negi’s Honeymoon Murders was in 8th place with 1.7 million views, while Thalaivettiyaan Paalayam came last with 1.6 million views.
