Sree Vishnu’s SWAG was released in theaters yesterday, October 4. The film was a combination of director Hasith Goli and actor Sree Vishnu, who previously worked for Raja Raja Chora, which received critical acclaim along with box office success. The SWAG movie’s posters, teaser, and trailer raised the anticipation levels among audiences, and it received a decent response upon its theatrical release, though a few sections of reviewers did not give good reviews for the film.
Sree Vishnu’s performance got a unanimously positive response, but as said above, the critics did not give a 100% thumbs up to the film, citing the complex concept and confusing narration of the film as a reason. However, many netizens praised the film and regarded it as a unique film with different concepts. SWAG collected nearly 50 lakhs gross at the worldwide box office on its first day. The film should get a good jump on the weekend, and currently it is trending well on the ticket booking app, Book My Show, with 2k tickets getting sold per hour.
TG Vishwa Prasad produced SWAG under the People Media Factory banner, and it was written and directed by Hasith Goli. Vivek Sagar composed the film’s music. The film stars Sree Vishnu, Ritu Varma, Meera Jasmine, Daksha Nagarkar, Goparaju Ramana, Sunil, Sharanya Pradeep, Ravi Babu, and others.
