Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor’s Stree 2 completes two weeks at the box office, and it is consistently getting good numbers. The film is going strong collecting double digits even on weekdays and surprising everyone. Released on August 15th, Stree 2 utilized the Independence Day Holiday and secured a terrific total of Rs 65 crore on its first day (including numbers from Paid Premieres on August 14th Night).
After having a superb second weekend at the theaters, Stree 2 continued to score well even on weekdays. On its second Tuesday, the film collected over 12 crores; on its second Wednesday, it gathered 10.2 Crores. For two weeks, Stree 2 has collected 444.5 Net and 524.5 Crores Gross at the domestic box office. Trade experts are confident that the film will cross the magical 500Cr mark and will collect further after that. Stree 2 has amazed everyone with its fantastic theatrical run, and its success has boosted the filmmakers’ confidence.
Stree 2 is set in Chanderi and shows how the people face danger with Sarkata, a headless demon who kidnaps women who have progressive thinking. Rajkumar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor play the lead characters, while Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurana, and Pankaj Tripathi appear in supporting roles. The film also has cameos of Akshay Kumar, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Varun Dhawan. Amar Kaushik directed Stree 2. The film is a part of Maddock Films’ Supernatural Universe, which started with Stree (2018) and continued with Bhediya (2022) and Munjya (2024).
