Stree 2 is continuing its record-breaking run at the theaters. Within fifteen days of its theatrical run, the Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor’s film crossed the 450 crore mark at the domestic box office. The horror comedy is now on the way to surpass Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan.
Stree 2 was released in theaters worldwide on August 15th along with Akshay Kumar’s Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham, Sharvari’s Vedaa. Though the trade circles expected a clash among the three movies, Stree 2 has completely dominated the other films, and they became colossal failures at the box office. On its 15th day, Stree 2 collected over 9 Crores in India, which takes its total to 453.7 Crores.
This is for the first time that Stree 2 failed to cross the double-digit figure in its fifteen days of theatrical run. However, it is continuing to draw audiences towards the theaters. Directed by Amar Kaushik, Stree 2 also stars Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee, and Pankaj Tripathi in crucial roles. Varun Dhawan, Akshay Kumar, and Tamannaah Bhatia appeared in cameos in Stree 2.
